Bicycle Picnics & Café & Bistro is a culinary cycling experience offering bicycle rentals, a packed picnic basket or a sit-down café for those who want to relish the rugged Atlantic Ocean at our doorstep.

When you picnic with us, we provide a map suggesting ideal picnic spots. Bonavista provides a very unique landscape ideal for cycling and the history (not to mention the landscape) is rich with opportunities to explore. Our incredible coast line boasts many spectacular views and serves as a natural playground for children to explore.

For the love of home…

Growing up in Bonavista, you “lived” outside in the summer. With so many wondrous and natural places to explore, there was endless inspiration for your imagination. Bicycling was always the best way to travel around town.

Bicycling is a love I now share with my family and it is because of our family roots here and our love of exploring that we created our little business in order to allow others to experience Bonavista with the same wonder and imagination. With our little business and ocean-side cafe, my family can experience the same memories I had growing up. Not to mention, spending time with Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Locally Foraged Ingredients

There has been a remarkable revitalization of the foraging movement in Newfoundland. And rightly so; it is a delicacy. We source local, wild ingredients whenever possible for our menu.
